Dr, Bang is fellowship trained in Cornea/External Diseases and Refractive Surgery. She earned her MD and Masters of Public Health from George Washington University where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. She completed her ophthalmology residency training at Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center. She then completed her fellowship training at Johns Hopkins University/Wilmer Eye Institute, ranked the nuber one eye hospital in the East by U.S. News and World Report. She is on the faculty at Georgetown University and an Attending Surgeon at the Washington National Eye Center. In addition, she has been involved in multiple international surgical teams to Guatemala to provide quality eye care and surgery for the country's underserved people.
