Dr. Cheung is a Board Certified/Fellowship Trained Surgeon. She earned her MD from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed her Ophthalmology Fellowship training in cornea and refractive surgery at the Johns Hopkins/Wilmer Eye Institute, ranked the number one eye hospital in the East by U.S. News and World Report. Before moving to the DC area she was on the faculty at the Edward S. Harkness Eye Institute as an Assistnat Professor at Columbia University.
